Why Arlen? Arlen is the TV home of "King of the Hill." It's a small conservative town that is threatened with ruination on a regular basis by twig boys, enviro wackos, diversity nuts, "PC" police and other ivory tower liberals. I like to think of Arlen as a metaphor for this here great nation of ours. |

From today's New York Post:
"We had a round in our chamber and we didn't use it. That's how I see it," snapped former Democratic Sen. Bob Kerrey (Neb.), a member of the Sept. 11 presidential commission. A CIA official called [one] incident "a lost opportunity to kill bin Laden before 9/11. So, Clinton had eight years and at least three chances to get Bin Laden and he didn't...but Bush is the one who could have prevented 9/11?

Drudge and N.Y. Times have reported that John Kerry called one of the Secret Service Agents guarding him a "son of a bitch". Meanwhile, his wife, millionaire Teresa, calls the people of the United States "at times...quite immature." Is this to sort of attitude towards others we want in our President and First Lady? Apparently, the group behind the attacks is partially funded by foundations tied to Teresa Heinz Kerry:
Furthermore, according to the American Spectator: Despite denials that the Kerry campaign criticized the Bush ads, the Kerry camp did reach out family members of people killed on 9/11 whom they knew were supporters of Kerry and asked if they'd be willing to denounce the ads publicly. I'm sure the "mainstream media" will be bringing this up any day now.
